The Active at Home Project
Welfare means Wellbeieng
The Active at Home Project, created thanks to the strong commitment and dedication of volunteer Rosy Gubbay and now supported by the Vaduz Foundation, is aimed at people in their third and fourth age who live independently in their own homes, as well as at all those who feel lonely, bored or low in spirits, and who are in need of stimulation or useful guidance to improve
their physical and mental well-being.

The activities offered can be
grouped into four main areas:
-
Socialisation, through events such as lunches, afternoon gatherings, card tournaments, outings to the cinema and theatre, and trips.
-
Well-being, with programmes of gentle exercise, meetings on topics related to health, nutrition, self-esteem and personal safety.
-
Stimulation, including courses in painting, music, singing and memory sharing, as well as memory games.
-
Assistance, through extraordinary interventions focused on personal care.
Active at Home maintains regular contact through periodic phone calls and offers an accompaniment service for those who may need it.

Tell us what you think!
Dear friend,
we need your suggestions to help us improve. For this reason, we would like to ask you which activities interest you and how often you would like them to be offered.
You can select all the activities you like, but please add a number to indicate your preferences (1 for your top choice, then 2, 3, 4, and so on).
Would you like to suggest an activity? Thank you!
